PART-TIME SUPERVISED PARENTING TIME WORKERS NEEDED!

As an SPT worker you will be responsible for monitoring and evaluating clients assigned to our Family Connections program for in-office supervised parenting time.  Qualified candidate must be able to Interact with children from age birth through 18, Interact with sometimes angry, irate and hostile parents, protect children while visiting with parent(s), and maintain complete and well-written records of hourly visitations.

 Bachelor’s degree in social work, sociology, psychology, or related field preferred with experience working with children, families and social services required. 

Associate degree in human services field with previous experience working with children, families, and social services, etc. may be considered.

Family Resiliency Workers Needed!

SCAN, Inc. (Stop Child Abuse & Neglect) is looking for several part-time social workers for our Family Restoration department. Part-time Family Resiliency Workers are required to have a Bachelor’s degree in social work or closely related field and be available at least four evenings per week and Saturdays. A valid driver’s license with proof of current automobile insurance is also required.

 Responsibilities include providing direct services to families who are struggling with the problems relating to child abuse and neglect.

 Experience working with families and children is a plus.

Are You a Master’s Level or Licensed Therapist?

SCAN has openings for full- and part-time Clinical Social Workers.  These positions require a Master’s degree in social work, psychology, marriage and family therapy or related human service field and three (3) years related clinical experience or a Master’s degree with a clinical license issued by the Indiana Social Worker, Marriage and Family therapist or Mental Health Counselor Board. Qualified individuals will provide family and individual therapy, assess for strengths and needs, and make clinical recommendations for service. Must be willing to do home-based work, work evenings and possibly Saturdays, be highly organized, and have excellent computer skills.

Openings available in the Fort Wayne area, Indianapolis area and Elkhart/South Bend area.
