Part-time ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

     SCAN’s Healthy Families Indiana program has an opening for a part-time Administrative Assistant. A qualified candidate will assist the Administrator of State Services with a variety of clerical functions, including, but not limited to: screening calls, proof reading, transcribing correspondence, maintaining appointment calendars, working with spreadsheets, coordinating staff visits, and other duties as assigned.

     The person must be actively familiar with computer systems including Microsoft software and must be able to learn new systems quickly. This person must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be flexible with assignments at all times. Excellent working knowledge of English grammar, spelling, and punctuation are a must. One must have excellent customer service skills, also. (i.e. - the customer is always right!)

     A High School Diploma or GED is required. Schooling in business or secretarial science is preferred and a minimum of three years experience in a secretarial position is also required.

A flexible work schedule can be worked out, however, some dates and times will be required.

ASSESSMENT WORKERS FULL-TIME

     SCAN, Inc. is accepting resumes for Full-time Assessment Workers for our Community Partners Program located in St. Joseph, Elkhart, Marshall and Kosciusko counties. Successful candidates will travel primarily these counties but must be willing to travel to other locations within Northeast Indiana as needed. Position requires some evening work, being highly detail oriented and able to work with minimal supervision. A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or related field is preferred OR five years relevant experience, as well as experience working with children and families. Spanish speaking is a plus. Applicant must be willing to conduct home-based intakes and have a good working knowledge of the internet and computers. Applicant must reside in the Community Partners Region show above.

Are You a Master’s Level or Licensed Therapist?

     SCAN has openings for full- and part-time Clinical Social Workers. These positions require a Master’s degree in social work, psychology, marriage and family therapy or related human service field and three (3) years related clinical experience or a Master’s degree with a clinical license issued by the Indiana Social Worker, Marriage and Family therapist or Mental Health Counsellor Board. Qualified individuals will provide family and individual therapy, assess for strengths and needs, and make clinical recommendations for service. Must be willing to do home-based work, work evenings and possibly Saturdays, be highly organized, and have excellent computer skills.

Openings are available in the: Fort Wayne, Indianapolis, and Elkhart/South Bend areas.
