Join us for the 2nd Annual Quackers Riverway 5K presented by Franklin Electric! This 5K run/walk will start and finish at Johnny Appleseed Park and travel south along the St. Joseph River, tentatively turn west on State Blvd, and head back north along the River Greenway. Spy Run Avenue and the River Greenway are currently under construction. The project is projected to be completed in mid-June. Check back for more course details as the event gets closer. All proceeds from the event support SCAN’s mission to protect children, prepare parents, strengthen families, and educate the community to Stop Child Abuse and Neglect.

All pre-registered participants will receive a performance shirt and swag bag.
Limited swag bags and shirts will be available to Race Day registrants, but are not guaranteed.
5:00pm: Packet Pick-Up & Race Day Registration Opens
6:15pm: Registration and Pick-Up Close
6:30pm: Quackers Riverway 5K
7:30pm: Kids Run
Top 3 overall timed male and female finishers will receive prizes.
Top 3 male and female timed finishers in the following age group will receive a prize:
12 and under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, and 80 and over
Costume contest: Put your best feather forward and bring your duck costume! The most creative costume participating in the 5K will win a prize!
PLEASE NO PETS OR SKATES. Strollers are welcome.
There will be a free kids run for children 10 and under at 7:30pm at the race site. The distance will be 300-400 yards. There is no registration required and all finishers will receive a cool medal. An annoucement will be made and those wishing to participate will report to the designated place inside Johnny Appleseed Park.
Join us after the race for the 29th Annual Weigand Construction Duck Race to Benefit SCAN! Stick around for kids activities, food trucks, live music, beer garden, and fireworks!
You may park at Fort Wayne Turners or along H.W. Baals Drive in Johnny Applseed Park. H.W. Baals Drive will be closed from the entrance of the Johnny Appleseed Park boat ramp to Parnell Street, please access park parking via Coliseum.
