How do I access Daybreak Crisis Homes?

If you find yourself in need of emergency care for your children, call Daybreak. We respond 24/7, with standard hours between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. After hours placements are available in emergencies. When you call, we will ask a few simple questions to make sure Daybreak is right for you.

A staff person will meet you at the SCAN office or where you are to fill out an information packet. This ensures SCAN has all of the important details about your children. A physical inspection is performed of each child, in your presence, before going into the short-term respite home. This is to give you peace of mind regarding your children’s safety throughout the process.
