Parenting Classes Help Build a More Positive Future.

Divorce and separation can be traumatic, divisive events for families. Through Family Connections, a fee-for-service program, parents can take classes in Fort Wayne to help resolve their conflict and start their new family life off on the right foot. Family Connections teaches parents communication and conflict management skills so they can be the best parents possible to their children.

Through SCAN’s Family Connections program, families find a new way to move forward in conflict, keeping their children’s best interest in mind every step of the way. SCAN’s Parenting Classes help give families the tools they need to build and maintain healthy relationships for a more positive future together.

Always A Parent

This class is for parents who have demonstrated an inability or unwillingness to work through issues without conflict. Both parents must attend together. This is a six-week class with two hours per session. The cost of this class is $300.

New Parenting Partnership

This class is for parents who are not currently in a relationship with each other, or are in the process of separating or divorcing, and want to learn skills that help keep conflict down and co-parent effectively. This is a one-time, four hour class. The cost of this class is $75.

Power of Parenting

This class is for parents who have the need or desire to increase their knowledge of parenting. This is a five-week class with one hours per session. Registration for the Spring sessions, beginning December 5th, is free while space is available. Click the button below to get registered.
