Every day, we meet families who need the most basic necessities. By giving to the Wish List, you can help these families lighten their burden. You can visit our Amazon Wish List throughout the year to find out our current needs and have your donated items delivered directly to SCAN, or you can donate below to ensure SCAN can purchase hygiene items, household items, or other specific needs for a family. Car Seats and Furniture

Children need car seats to ride safely in vehicles. We give these to families who don't have the means to purchase one themselves.

Food

Mainly will be used in our Healthy Families Program, which helps parents with newborns, and our Community Partners Program, which helps parents overcome issues that could lead to child neglect including financial problems.

Hygiene

Clothing / Other Items

Messy accidents can happen during a parent’s visitation. We are in need of clothing we can provide to parents during those unexpected moments. We are only able to accept new, unworn clothing.

  • Adult T-shirts, Sweatshirts, Sweatpants

We need socks for kids ranging from newborn through teenagers.

Our Read To Me program supplies new books to children ages 0 – 18. Over 5,000 books are distributed annually. Any new books for older children are appreciated.

Household

Mainly will be used in our Daybreak Crisis Homes, which provide short-term housing for kids whose parents are experiencing an emergency. Also in our Community Partners Program which helps parents overcomes issues that could lead to child neglect.

Bug Spray is needed for any house we enter that has a insect infestation occurring.
